Again ordered my Egg White Sau Egg McMuffin and Black coffee, this time again it was wrong on the Drive Thru (didn’t say egg Wh) order Screen, so I repeated it again. As I was driving away I could hear on the speaker someone correcting the order taker about the order and after paying, and getting the order bag and the receipt, I was relieved that this time the order was going to be correct. However, when I got home, the Black coffee was again correct, but in the bag, was not my sandwich, but a small yogurt and granola!! See picture. I was so mad.

Ordered a Egg White Sausage Egg McMuffin with no Cheese, and Black Coffee, and repeated order to order taker that it was an egg white Sausage Egg McMuffin, because it was wrong on the Order Window. Picked up the order, and when I opened the food at home, as you can see in the picture it was an Egg White Sandwich with Canadian Bacon (Egg Wh Delight) with no cheese, and the ticket still showed it like it was on the drive thru order window. They did get the Black coffee right.

Burger King Fast Food GRIPE (Items in Order Wrong) – Asked for NO Ketchup, but got Ketchup?

During a recent trip to Burger King, I order food for three of us, and one of the sandwiches ordered was a Whopper with cheese with everything except NO Ketchup. Unfortunately, when we got home, that whopper had ketchup, and that person was disappointed. All the other items were correct, even another whopper, with NO Mayo. If you look at the attached ticket, you can see that the order was entered correct, it was just not made correct.

McDonalds Fast Food GRIPE (Food Quality) – Coffee Sweetner shortchanged?

Ok, this gripe is not about one visit, but something I have consistently observed at all the McDonalds I visit. This is about the amount of sweetner they put in your coffee (I assume similar for tea etc, but I mostly order coffee). In particular my observations are mostly about Splenda, but I think the same is true for regular sugar. What I am talking about is this: I typically order a large coffee. When I order it black, and put in my own packets at home, I never put in more than four. sometimes three. But when I order a coffee with “4″ splendas put in by McD, I ALWAYS have to add 1 or 2 more. Of course if I order at drive thru, this has to wait till I get home. So now, if I am driving home, I order it black, and put in my 4 Splendas at home, or if not driving home, I now order it with “5″ Splendas to get the taste of 4, or order the Splenda on the side. My guess is that some cost accountant at McD figured out to save millions of dollars by making each squirt about 20% less … WP_20140327_002

Taco Bell Good Gripe – Great Customer Service – Coffee Cup

This morning I ordered a sausage and egg burrito, hash brown, and coffee. As the clerk was handing me the food and coffee, I noticed a small amount of coffee drip from the cup. It was a very small amount, but the clerk immediately stopped, grabbed a napkin, and made sure the coffee cup was dry, before passing it over. I just wanted to say THANK YOU for being customer oriented, and not just handing it over and risking some dripping on me or in my car.

Taco Bell Fast Food GRIPE (Food Quality) – Hash Browns too crispy?

I like my hash browns crispy, and because of that, already like the taco bell breakfast hash browns better than McDonalds, but last week when I bought breakfast there, I ordered two hash browns, and both of them were a little too crispy, so much so, that in some places, it was crispy all the way through, ie. no soft potato in between at all. Probably were left in the fryer just a little bit too long. I went back yesterday, and the hash browns were done just right (crispy, but not all crispy all the way through), so hopefully it was a one time thing.

Actually I really like Publix, and the Deli generally (usually get the subs), but OTHER Fast Food GRIPE Publix Deli – Never Enough Chicken legs!I do have a gripe that has occurred several of the last couple of times I get fried chicken for my wife. The problem, is that the Publix deli we go to, never seems to have enough Chicken Legs available, as she usually asks me to get her 3 or 4 legs. This last time I went there was about 11:30am in the morning, right before lunch – the time you would think they would have plenty of chicken prepared for the lunch crush, and the wife wanted 4 chicken legs. Well. they only had one leg, but the deli person was able to scrounge two more from the boxes of chicken available, so that got it to three. They did say if I was willing to wait for about 15 minutes, I could get more, but I just bought 3,. This was by no means the first time I was unable to get my 3 or 4 legs. I understand they can not overprep the chicken, but in this case it looked like I was the first lunch customer, and there was one leg?

Went thru Drive-thru and ordered a “Classic Fish Sandwich”, and while the sandwich certainly tasted good, they put way too much of that white sauce on it, so much so, that it was oozing out of the sandwich before I even ate it (see picture), and after I was done there was a lot of it that had dripped out (see other picture). The sandwich was hard to eat too, because as I was attempting to eat it, the fish would slip out, I guess due to all the sauce that was making it slip out easy. Next time I think I may order the sauce on the side . Rest of our order was ok.
